WizDio is a youtube channel dedicated to record the progress and attempts made with exploring the best ways to get passive income.
While youtube channels can be a great long term investment, which can produce very good passive income, they are best while being active, therefore time is required for growth and to keep it relevant.
So far, I've personally spent 3 hours into this project.
While the starting time investment is minimal, over time you may end up being sucked into a full time job while doing youtube by spending too much time creating and editing content. At some point in time it is best to delegate certain tasks to other people, such as editing videos.

The monetary cost to start a youtube channel tends to be minimal.
While recording gear and editing software can be quite expensive, you should be able to start a channel with common items that you already have access to, such as a phone for recording purposes, for editing there are plenty of free software packages to choose from, such as DaVinci Resolve.
Once the channel starts producing good income results, hiring professionals to do certain tasks may be the right choice, increasing the costs of production, but allowing you to have a more "passive" income stream with less active work.
